If there is a book, chapter or article you need but it is not available through the library catalogue, we can try to obtain a copy from another library.

The inter-library loans (ILL) service is available FREE of charge for all Solent University students and staff. The limits for requests are:
Requests made by staff must be for personal/private use only. Requests for articles or chapters intended for reading lists must be submitted via readinglists@solent.ac.uk.
Unfortunately, the ILL service is not open to visitors to the university or members of the public.
Most books can be borrowed for 4-6 weeks.
Please get in touch with us before the ILL is due using the contact details below. We will then contact the lending library and request a renewal on your behalf.
