Library computers and printing

Solent library has 8 group study rooms, 17 individual study rooms, and almost 400 computers. You can make advance bookings for, and check the availability of, all these resources via the MyPC booking system.

All our computers have access to high quality laser printers that print both colour and black and white.

print-creditFirst year students receive an initial print quota of £2.50. When this is used up you must purchase extra print quota online

Learning Technologies Student help

The Learning Technologies Advisors can be found at the Learning Technologies Helpdesk on floor 2 of Solent library. 

Term time opening times: 9am to 7pm weekdays; 10am to 5pm weekends.

They can assist with all the University's Teaching and Learning systems (SOL, myPortfolio, online submissions including Turnitin, etc.) and any general technology issues, including connecting to the WiFi and University computers.
