Badges you can earn and their tasks

 Creator

Create and share an introductory video and/or a written piece on the DigiBuds facebook page. The Digibud working group will also add this to the Digibuds Libguide.

 

  Developer

 After the completion of 2 Linkedin learning courses with their certificates, and provide feedback about the courses via email to us, you will be awarded the badge. It is not necessary the courses to be related to your course. Examples of Linkedin learning courses: managing your time, negotiating skills and so on. 

 

  Collaborator 

 For this badge, you need to work with the staff on the  Learning Technologies helpdesk in the library for a minimum of 5, 1 hour sessions to gain more knowledge on the type of digital enquires received. 

 

  Promoter 

In order to be awarded this badge, you need to do: 1 ‘Pop-up DigiBuds’ (staffing a table for 1 hour at another location to the library around campus, for example The Spark, Andrews, Matthews and so on). This will be to promote and showcase the use of Linkedin Learning to other students.

 

   Supporter

For this badge you will need to post on the facebook page, 5 posts relating to digital skills. These may include word documents of tips, hints and information written by you, Instructional videos you have found, Linkedin Learning videos and/or courses you may feel beneficial or interesting to other students looking to improve their digital skills. 

 

  Super Digibud 

You will be award this badge and a tablet by completing all the previous badges and sharing your feedback of the scheme and Linkedin Learning and what you might have learnt. Send this feedback via email to the DigiBuds working group.
