Box of Broadcasts or BoB as it is commonly referred to is a service that allows you to watch, record and create clips from television and radio broadcasts. There are 65 free-to-air channels to chose from. There is an archive of BBC programmes back to 2007.
You do not need a television licence to watch these programmes.
Missed a useful programme? No problem there is a 30 day buffer or you may find it has been recorded by one of the other 85 UK university subscribers.
Box of Broadcasts is not available to students or staff not currently living in the UK. Staff can include programmes on SOL module pages to make them available to all students everywhere. Email library.support@solent.ac.uk for more information on how to do this.
