Borrowing print books from the library from January 2021

From January 2021 there will be some changes to how you use and access the library:

Borrowing print books and other physical items:

  • You will need to request print books and other physical items you want to borrow from the library in advance using the 'Click & Collect' service.
  • It will not be possible to browse the Library shelves
  • Use the Library Catalogue to identify books you want - we have an extensive provision of ebooks but if the title you want is held in print, please request it via Click & Collect.
  • You can access the library to pick up books requested via 'Click & Collect' between 1pm - 4pm Monday to Friday.

More details are available from the COVID 19 - Solent Library services online and on site LibGuide.
