This guide will give you an overview of what makes a good, meaningful reading list to support students on your modules.
It suggests some key points to consider whilst creating your reading list - plus it provides important details regarding Library policies and workflows around supplying the reading list content.
You can also get an overview of the process for getting your reading list added to SOL modules so students can interact with the content.
If you have a reading list you would like added to your SOL module, please send it to your Information Librarian or the Reading Lists team at readinglists@solent.ac.uk
Each reading list should have a year label attached. This is to enable us to distinguish current lists from old ones and archive lists no longer in use to keep the system working efficiently. The year label is located at the top of the list above the list tabs.
If you are currently using a list that does not have a current year label attached, please contact the Reading Lists team to update this, so that you do not lose access.
Further details are available from the SOL Reading List pages.
