Subject LibGuides offer students support, that they can access themselves at point of need, for their individual subject areas. These online guides, produced by Information Librarians, offer advice on the key resources for each subject and how to get access and search for information.
Research Skills videos are designed to give students an introduction to and overview of the skills and approaches needed to be successful in their research, use of academic databases, evaluation of sources and referencing.
The Referencing Guide LibGuide provides guidance on how students reference their information sources.
There are individual LibGuides for each referencing style.

One to one appointments:
Research skills appointments and enquiries are available for more in depth queries. These 1:1 appointments are offered in-person or online via Microsoft Teams.
Students can book by contacting the Information Librarians or email library.support@solent.ac.uk and a member of the team will deal with your query or appointment request as quickly as possible (please allow up to 3 working days for a reply).
Students can email referencing.support@solent.ac.uk for help with Harvard Solent referencing and RefWorks. Queries will be dealt with as quickly as possible but please allow up to 72 hours for a response from the team.
