Library services: updates

The Library is currently open to Solent students, staff and visitors.  Please bring your campus card with you to borrow items and to access the Library when the turnstiles are up.  The turnstiles are up from 5.30pm on weekdays and during weekends.

Members of the public wishing to use the Library must apply for a Visitor Pass and receive it before their first visit.  Please see the visitors guide for full details about visitor access and to complete the Visitor Pass request form.

Opening hours

Tuesday 2nd April 2024 - Friday 20^th December 2024

• Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 11.00pm
• Saturday to Sunday: 11.00am - 11.00pm

• Bank Holiday Monday 27^th May 2024: 11.00am - 5.00pm
  • A Visitor Pass will be required by anyone wishing to access the Library on the Bank Holiday who isn't a student/staff member at Solent University.  You can apply for a Visitor Pass online but please allow at least 3 working days for the request to be processed.

• Bank Holiday Monday 26^th August 2024: opening hours to be confirmed
