Copyright @ Solent

Copyright matters

Copyright is important because most of the resources that you use for research or teaching, both in print and electronically will be protected by copyright.

Copyright is protected by legislation and any infringement could lead to legal proceedings against yourself or the University.

Read through the copyright advice to staff and students of Solent University (link below) They are not intended to be a definitive statement of the law although every effort has been made to provide as up-to-date and accurate information as possible.

For more information please see the CLA website.  Additional advice on copyright and Solent On-Line learning can be found in the Reading Lists section of this guide.

For further support please see the information in the left hand menu or visit copyright for lecturers on Solent Online Learning.
