The group takes part in the University’s Green Impact Awards Scheme. The Green Impact scheme challenges the library to implement a variety of actions that will help the environment. The more actions you complete, the more points you score, leading to a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Award.
Actions include energy saving, recycling, transport, wellbeing, and staff/student engagement. In 2019 the group achieved the Gold award for the library.
